The downloadable video makes for a great resource for you to talk about with the children. This site contains information on Roman people, town life, settlement and invasion, army and warfare, religion, crafts and trade.

A great site for upper Ks2. This takes children on a virtual archaeological dig in Canada. There is some reading required before you can actually dig - but unless you learn - you won't be able to make the most of this great resource from Canada.

This is ViewFinder, a major online image resource for England's history from English Heritage. The site state;s "The Picture Gallery contains illustrations of the industrial age, social history, architecture and archaeology, dating from the 1840s to the present day. The Stories set the photographs in a wider context".
