You might like to use some of these children's songs to sing along to in class - handy if you're not confident at finding a starting note, and the backing music is pretty cheery. The music files are in midi format. To play these you will need a media player like QuickTime.

A range of traditional songs (Polly Wolly Doodle, BINGO, My Bonnie, Frere Jacques, and many more) recorded and available as free mp3 downloads. Very handy to play as backup for singing in class - the recordings provide you with a good starting note and a jazzy guitar accompaniment. The site also provides lyrics and guitar chords for all the songs featured.
