This does what it says on the tin: simple chords and lyrics for a range of traditional songs for younger children. Even if you don't play the guitar, you might find it handy to check for lyrics here.
You might like to use some of these children's songs to sing along to in class - handy if you're not confident at finding a starting note, and the backing music is pretty cheery. The music files are in midi format. To play these you will need a media player like QuickTime.

Very handy to play as backup for singing in class - the recordings provide you with a good starting note and a jazzy guitar accompaniment. The site also provides lyrics and guitar chords for all the songs featured.
